Life Insurance
$10,000.00 LIFE INSURANCE IS PROVIDED AT NO COST TO EMPLOYEE. Additional insurance may be purchased for yourself and dependents and have payroll deductible.
401-K Plan
Participation is permitted after 6 months of employment with contribution of 1% – 20%. Suttles Truck Leasing, Inc., matches ten cents on every dollar.
Major Medical Insurance
STL provides after 90 days at no cost to its employees group medical benefits that includes dental, vision, and short term disability, after 90 days of employment.
The Plan provides 90% coverage of most major medical expenses when using company’s PPO and after reaching a deduction of $250.00 per person with a maximum deduction of $750.00 per family.
The cost for spouse and dependent coverage includes medical, dental and vision are:
1. Employee’s spouse-no children $11.00 per week
2. Employee’s children-no spouse $12.00 per week
3. Employee’s spouse with children $23.00 per week
Dental Insurance
Is provided the employee and his dependents after 90 days and provides coverage between 50-100% of the cos of dental care.
Vision Insurance
Allows yearly check-ups, new lenses and frames every two years. There is a co-payment by the employee in the amount of $15.00 for exams, and a co-payment of $25.00 for materials.
Demurrage Pay
After 2 hours of free time, driver is paid 50% of Billable time.
Training Pay
Drivers are paid $300 per week when attending 1 week orientation or when trained by a driver trainer.
Direct Deposit
Direct deposit is available to those who select it.
Referral Bonus
The company will pay to any employee, except Supervision $500.00 for recruiting drivers – $250 will be paid after 90 days employment and the other $250 after 180 days.
Passenger Riding Program
The company allows it drivers to take his/her spouse and / or 16 year old child on a trip, once per quarter.
Uniform Shirts
The company shares 50% of the cost of uniform shirts & allows payroll deduction.
Driver Trainer Pay
Driver’s used as driver trainers are paid extra for training new drivers.
Driver Breakdown Pay
Drivers involved in a mechanical breakdown receive compensation as outlined in company policy manual.
